 The Doctor
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Jason Beerends is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic in
Davenport, Iowa. He did undergraduate studies at the University of Iowa
in Iowa City, Iowa where he graduated with a Bachelors of Science
Degree in Biology. Dr. Beerends is a graduate of West Bend East High
School, West Bend. Wisconsin.
While at the University of Iowa finishing his undergraduate degree Dr.
Jason worked at Hardee’s as a shift manager. Before opening his
practice in Iowa City, Iowa in 2002, he worked in the Quad Cities at
Healthy Habits bike & nutrition store. Where he worked on the
maintenance of bicycles and advised customers on the proper fit for
their bicycle and their accessories. During this time he also visited
several chiropractic offices and attended seminars in pediatrics,
vaccinations, neurology, office and insurance management. Dr. Jason has
been practicing in Iowa City, Iowa since 2002 to present day.
Dr. Jason is an avid cyclist and has been in many races since high
school. He has competed in the FireHouse Fifty Road Race in Wisconsin
since 1990. Dr. Jason also has placed in the FireHouse Fifty and a
Criterium road race in the Quad Cities. In 2001 he competed in the Vail
Ultra 100 mountain bike race in Vail, Colorado. He also enjoys golfing,
hiking and white water river rafting with his family.
